Heritage Public radio station KCRW (89.9 FM)/SANTA MONICA will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the popular morning show "Morning Becomes Eclectic." The show has become legend for breaking down the traditional barriers between pop, jazz, rock and classical.
Hosts during its 20-year run have been world music and jazz guru TOM SCHNABEL, CHRIS DOURIDAS and current host NIC HARCOURT. "The show lives and breathes based on what’s being released across the world," DOURIDAS said. "My philosophy is, if you love it, play it. If you play something you love, chances are other people will love it, too."
Special programming to highlight the anniversary is set for LABOR DAY, MONDAY SEPTEMBER 3, on both the terrestrial station and KCRW.com.
