TEXTANGO.COM is about to debut what it describes as a "revolutionary, patent pending mobile billing and music delivery platform." The new service will allow anyone, anywhere in the U.S. and 31 other countries "to purchase music simply by sending a premium text message with their cell phone."
After the music is downloaded from TEXTANGO.COM, consumers are billed through their cell phone, which should encourage "impulse purchasing." TEXTANGO claims that 96% of the premium message fee received from the carriers will go to the artists, record labels, and clients.
Artists selling through Textango have seen a 1,000% growth in their sales
"We are very excited to empower our labels, artists, and clients with a mobile billing option for impulse purchasing," TEXTANGO.COM co-founder THOMAS SCRIVEN stated. "We have artists selling through TEXTANGO that have seen a 1,000% growth in their sales because of TEXTANGO's convenience.
"The biggest music buying demographic in the world does not have credit cards. They can't buy your digital music or digital products. TEXTANGO.COM is the solution. We believe that this is the beginning of a solution for the revival of the music business!"
Pre-approved price points for each mobile carrier ranges from 30 cents to $14.99. TEXTANGO already has distribution deals in place with independent labels such as VICTORY, VAGRANT, TRUSTKILL, and more.
