TRI-STATE BROADCASTERS is selling Sports WTSA-A and Hot AC WTSA-F/BRATTLEBORO, VT to WILLIAM J. and KELLY CORBEIL's FOUR SEASONS MEDIA for $1.5 million cash.
In other deals filed with the FCC, STEVE WHITE and JOHN TAYLOR PASCHAL have sold all of their stock in CENTURY BROADCASTING, LLC, licensee of Oldies WOHT (STAR 92)/GRENADA, MS, to GREGORY F. SLOTSKY for $520,000. The deal includes a three-year non-compete by the sellers and a time brokerage agreement. The buyer also brokers time on FLINN's Hot AC WMUT (MIX 101)/GRENADA, MS.
And the death of MAJOR MARKET STATIONS co-owner WILLIAM ROBERTS, 30% shareholder, and the bequeath of his shares to MARILYNN KRAMAR and CHARISMA IN MISSIONS, INC., gives CHARISMA IN MISSIONS 60% of MMS, licensee of Chinese/Brokered KWRM-A/CORONA, CA and Regional Mexican KWRN-A/APPLE VALLEY, CA. As a result, CHARISMA will surrender its construction permit for low-power FM KCFM-LP/SAN BERNARDINO, which it says cannot be built anyway due to changes in a full-power station's facilities.
