FCC Filing Has Details Of CC-Galaxy-EMF-Roser Utica-Rome Deal

The deal in which CLEAR CHANNEL is selling its UTICA-ROME-area stations to GALAXY COMMUNICATIONS, with spinoffs to ROSER COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK, INC. and EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION, has been filed with the FCC in four separate form filings, revealing the price for the entire cluster to be $3.1 million from GALAXY to CC. For its money, GALAXY is getting Sports WUTQ-A, Rock WOUR, and W231BI/UTICA, Classic Hits WOKR and Sports WADR-A/REMSEN, Sports WRNY-A/ROME, Top 40 WSKS/WHITESBORO, and Sports WIXT-A, Top 40 WSKU, W248AN, and W274AT/LITTLE FALLS.
GALAXY in turn is spinning WUTQ-A, WADR-A, and WSKS-WSKU to ROSER for $650,000, and is selling WOKR to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $350,000, as well as GALAXY's own WRCK and W231BI/UTICA for $1.224 million. GALAXY also owns Alternative WKLL (K-ROCK) and Adult Standards WTLB-A in the market, while ROSER also owns Country WBUG-WBGK (BUG COUNTRY), and EMF also owns Contemporary Christian WKVU (K-LOVE).
