CRTC Releases Broadcasting Policy Monitoring Report

The CRTC's new Broadcasting Policy Monitoring Report shows that Canadians listened to 18.6 hours of radio per week on average in 2006, off from 19.1 hours in 2005. The study also shows radio revenues for private commercial stations rising 5.7% to C$1.4 billion and Canadian stations paying C$23.9 million for the development of Canadian content.
