The CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING has provided MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO with a $25,000 emergency grant for coverage of the bridge collapse in MINNEAPOLIS.
In a memo to public radio stations from CPB SVP, Radio BRUCE THERIAULT, CPB Pres./CEO PAT HARRISON is quoted as saying, "Our thoughts go out to the people of MINNESOTA during this difficult time. One of the key aspects of responding to this tragedy is to keep people informed and this grant will help MPR continue to provide outstanding public service over the coming weeks."
