Carr's WRKO Salary Leaked To Paper

The ENTERCOM Talk WRKO-A/BOSTON vs. HOWIE CARR war escalates with the leak of CARR's salary to the BOSTON GLOBE. 

The paper quoted "industry executives who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly" who disclosed that afternoon host CARR made $790,000 in salaries and incentives last year and had the potential of making $900,000 if he had hit all bonus targets, a revelation apparently intended to counter CARR's claim that he is being treated like an "indentured servant" because ENTERCOM is fighting to stop him from jumping to mornings at rival GREATER MEDIA Talk WTKK (96.9 FM TALK) after his contract expires. 

The leak did not disclose how much of WRKO's revenues were generated by CARR's show. CARR and WRKO are suing each other over right-to-match provisions in CARR's contract.
