BONNEVILLE Alternative WSWD (94.9 THE SOUND)/CINCINNATI is offering their listeners a chance to assist in building its fall outdoor billboard campaign and be paid for their creative involvement. The "SPREAD THE SOUND" contest begins tomorrow (8/10) and runs through SEPTEMBER 5th.
THE SOUND is utlizing a new trend in advertising called C.G.M. or Consumer Generated Marketing. The concept turns to customers, or in this case, listeners seeking their input to create ad campaigns.
The "SPREAD THE SOUND" contest offers two listeners the chance to pocket $4,000 each! The first way listeners may enter is by submitting, in eight words or less (not counting the logo), the slogan they believe best "Spreads the Sound" word to GREATER CINCINNATI.
The second way to enter is to create a fully executed billboard campaign including art and billboard copy.
Entries will be posted on THE SOUND's website.
WSWD PD TOMMY BoDEAN said, "We proudly say that 'THE SOUND' is built by CINCINNATI, for CINCINNATI. "'THE SOUND’s' music and personality are different, because CINCINNATI is different. We’ve created unique programming, with CINCINNATI’s help. Now, THE SOUND’s advertising will reflect our CINCINNATI listener also."
