Who's Buying What

MAURICE COHEN's NORTHEAST RADIO, INC. is selling Talk WCAP-A/LOWELL, MA to CLARK SMIDT's MERRIMACK VALLEY RADIO, LLC for $2.66 million ($100,000 escrow, $2.028 million cash, $532,000 in a promissory note). The seller has owned the station since its launch in the 1950s.

In other deals filed with the FCC, RADIO WOODVILLE, INC. is selling AC KVLL-F/WELLS, TX to GAP BROADCASTING for $750,000 cash.

HALIFAX CHRISTIAN COMMMUNITY CHURCH, INC. is transferring the license for low power FM WFBO-LP/FLAGLER BEACH, FL to SUNSHINE FAMILY RADIO for no consideration, asserting that the seller cannot financially support the station.

And BIBLE BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. is selling the construction permit for TM translator K265DV/TEMPLE, TX to NEW STREAMS MINISTRY, INC. for $10,000. The buyer will use the translator to rebroadcast low power KXPW-LP/GEORGETOWN, TX.
