Milwaukee Brewers Explore Radio Options

The MILWAUKEE BREWERS have hired a consultant to review the team's options in the radio market. The MILWAUKEE JOURNAL-SENTINEL's BOB WOLFLEY reports that the BREWERS have hired LHB SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT AND MEDIA's LEE H. BERKE to look at the options for radio contracts in the MILWAUKEE market. The BREWERS have aired on JOURNAL Talk WTMJ-A since 1983 and are under contract through 2008.
The report wasn't the only news for WTMJ, as three people at the station's radio and TV studios were bitten late last WEDNESDAY by a pack of loose pit bulls. A female custodian at the station was attacked and sustained a severe wound as she left the building, and WTMJ-TV News Operations Mgr. SEAN O'FLAHERTY was bitten while trying to get the dogs away from the woman. A police officer was also bitten in the incident. The dogs had collars but no tags.
