Report: GM Lends Cars To Radio Hosts

AUTOMOTIVE NEWS reports that GENERAL MOTORS is recruiting several prominent radio personalities, both national and local, to endorse the company's cars by providing the hosts with new cars and trucks to drive for two weeks each month. The deal also includes trips to DETROIT to meet with GM executives and see the company's facilities.
According to the magazine, among the hosts taking advantage of the deal are RUSH LIMBAUGH, ED SCHULTZ, BILL O'REILLY, BILL PRESS, DR. LAURA SCHLESSINGER, WHOOPI GOLDBERG, SEAN HANITY, RYAN SEACREST, GLENN BECK, MICHAEL BAISDEN, GEORGE NOORY, DELILAH, LAURA INGRAHAM, JIM ROME, JOHN TESH, BIG TIGGER and KEITH SWEAT, plus local hosts. The hosts are not required to mention GENERAL MOTORS but some, including LIMBAUGH, have done so.
