RADIO ONE/BLUE CHIP BROADCASTING is selling Alternative WLRX (simulcast of WLRS)/CHARLESTOWN, IN-LOUISVILLE to WAY-FM MEDIA GROUP, INC. for $1 million.
In other sales filed with the FCC, LESLIE ANN CARSON's ACTION RADIO, LLC sells Country KZZR-A and Classic Hits KQHC (THE Q 92.7)/BURNS, OR to TONI and TREVOR CARSON's B&H RADIO, INC. for $209,700.98. ($5,000 down, plus $62,000 in 24 monthly payments to LESLIE ANN CARSON as an employee/consultant).
AM Stations Seek FM Translators
JOHN REYNOLDS is selling FM translator W250AJ/COPPERHILL, TN to BMG BROADCASTING, INC. for $10,000. The buyer plans to move the translator to be 100% within the 60 dbu contour of its Oldies WNGM-A (CLASSIC 1230)/HIAWASSEE, GA and will seek an STA to rebroadcast the AM station on the FM translator.
And DONALD F. HENDREN is selling FM translator K246AE/LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ to STEVEN M. GREELEY for $1,000. The buyer intends to apply for a waiver to be allowed to rebroadcast Talk KNTR-A/LAKE HAVASU CITY on the FM translator.
