Sterling James Celebrates 20-Years With 'Youth Speaks'

Urban AC KBLX (102.9 THE QUIET STORM)/SAN FRANCISCO afternoon host STERLING JAMES will celebrate her 20th Anniversary in BAY AREA radio with an exclusive concert to benefit the local literary arts group "YOUTH SPEAKS" on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6th at THE INDEPENDENT in downtown SAN FRANCISCO. STERLING will serve as "Mistress of Ceremonies" for the concert, which features performances by MARTIN LUTHER, JENNIFER JOHNS, BROUN FELLINIS, DJ WISDOM and YOUTH SPEAKS poets.
In addition to working at KBLX, STERLING JAMES' career includes stops at KNGY (ENERGY 92.7), KLLC (ALICE 97.3), SFSU's radio station KSFS, and her high school station KVHS/CONCORD, CA, where she began her broadcasting career at the age of 16.
