MORRIS COLLEGE is selling silent WQMC-A/SUMTER, SC to MILLER COMMUNICATIONS for $60,000. The sale contract notes that MILLER "intends to relocate (WQMC) to a new community, and remove Station from SUMTER as soon as reasonably possible."
In other deals filed with the FCC, JOHN A. TESIERO JR. is buying 76% of the stock of IZ COMMUNICATIONS, licensee of Adult Standards-Talk WCSS-A/AMSTERDAM, NY, from JOE ISABEL and several other stockholders for $525/share.
And KPET INC. is selling Country KPET-A/LAMESA, TX to DAWSON COUNTY BROADCASTING (DCB LICENSE SUB LLC) for $290,000 ($14,500 escrow, an additional $43,500 down, and a 10 year, 6% promissory note for $232,000).
