LYRIC STREET RECORDS/NASHVILLE has upped Promotions Coordinator KRIS LAMB to Manager, West Coast Promotion. LAMB, a native of SCOTTSDALE who will be based in PHOENIX will be taking the place of West Coast veteran CHRIS LOSS, who has been with the label since 2002. LOSS will be leaving the label in OCTOBER.
The announcement was made by LYRIC STREET VP/Promotion KEVIN HERRING, who said: "KRIS is a rising young star in our business. His passion and work ethic is infectious and I have total confidence in his ability to fill LOSS' big shoes.”
CHRIS LOSS had this to say as he reflects on his LYRIC STREET run: "I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Lyric Street Family and the entire company. Special thanks to RANDY GOODMAN, KEVIN HERRING, RENEE LEYMON and DALE TURNER for giving me a shot five years ago and for making this the best professional experience of my adult life. It is such a joy to know that KRIS LAMB will be taking on his dream gig --- the West Coast with the Mouse."
The move fuels the rumors that have been swirling around MUSIC ROW the past few weeks that LOSS will be joining SCOTT BORCHETTA, at what looks to be like a second imprint for the successful BIG MACHINE. Stay tuned.
