Sale Of KCKK/Denver Filed With FCC

Not only has MILE HIGH SPORTS RADIO returned to the air with Sports programming on KCKK-A/LITTLETON-DENVER, but the paperwork for the sale of the station to MILE HIGH by KEVIN MEDINA and NATHAN W. DRAGE's PEOPLE'S WIRELESS, LLC has been filed with the FCC. MILE HIGH is paying $4.4 million ($2.2 million in a promissory note) for the station.
In another deal filed with the FCC, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling the construction permit for WKYB/BURGIN, KY to VERNON R. BALDWIN for $533,000. BALDWIN owns six other stations in KENTUCKY and OHIO; WKYB, a class A facility with 1 kw at 472 ft., has city grade overlap with BALDWIN's Christian Rock WVRB (AIR ONE)/WILMORE, KY (LEXINGTON), which is LMAd to EMF's WKVO (K-LOVE)/LEXINGTON.
In addition, KITSAP COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is selling FM translator K228EK/GARDEN CITY, ID to SILVER CREEK MANAGEMENT, LLC for $1.
