The RUTGERS women's basketball player who filed a defamation lawsuit against DON IMUS and CBS RADIO has withdrawn the suit.
In a statement, a spokesperson for KIA VAUGHN's attorney RICHARD ANCOWITZ said that VAUGHN has returned to class and basketball and "(h)er strong commitments to both have influenced her decision to withdraw the lawsuit at this time."
IMUS and his attorney MARTIN GARBUS offered no comment on the withdrawal other than GARBUS' office noting that no money was paid by IMUS to VAUGHN for dropping the suit.
