  The voice of minor league baseball's SALEM-KEIZER VOLCANOES, PAT LAFFERTY, is retiring after 11 seasons at the mic. LAFFERTY, a former TV voice of the PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS, has been with the NORTHWEST LEAGUE team since its inception in 1997.
  The VOLCANOES are losing their flagship station, WILLAMETTE BROADCASTING CO. Talk KYKN-A/SALEM, OR, which is joining the SEATTLE MARINERS network next season.
