Free daily commuter tabloid newspaper METRO BOSTON and Sports WAMG-A-WLLH-A (890 ESPN)/BOSTON have inked a partnership for the 2007 football season that includes the station providing material for METRO columns and METRO Sports Editor CHRISTOPHER PRICE appearing on the station's co-branded "890 ESPN/METRO BOSTON NFL COUNTDOWN SHOW."
"The METRO is one of the most-read papers in the area, and we are pleased to be able to forge a partnership with them," said 890 ESPN GM JESSAMY TANG. "Their football experts, in conjunction with those that are already on our air, will certainly provide fans with even more extensive local football coverage."
"We are excited about our relationship with 890 ESPN, especially because it gives our readers the absolute best in football coverage every week," said METRO BOSTON Publisher and Managing Director STUART LAYNE. "Listeners will certainly benefit from the contribution of METRO Sports Editor CHRISTOPHER PRICE during 890 ESPN’s SUNDAY programming."
