Two Hawaii Deals Filed With FCC

HILO BROADCASTING, L.L.C. is selling Hawaiian KHBC/HILO, HI to PARROTT BROADCASTING LIMITED PARTNERSHIP for $450,000 ($50,000 already loaned to the seller, $250,000 cash, $150,000 within one year under a promissory note). The buyer, which has taken over operation of the station under an LMA, owns KHBC's simulcast partner KHWI/HILO and the construction permit for KHWA/HOLUALOA-KAILUA.
In another sale filed with the FCC, VICTOR A. MICHAEL, JR.'s KONA COAST RADIO, LLC is selling FM translator K268BE/HONOLULU to HOCHMAN HAWAII THREE, INC. for $60,000. The buyer will use the translator to rebroadcast its Ethnic KORL-F/WAIANAE-HONOLULU.
