Cal Turner III Adds Dualtone To Empire

DUALTONE RECORDS/NASHVILLE founders DAN HERRINGTON and SCOTT ROBISON have sold their majority shares of the label to former minority partner CAL TURNER III. According to CMT.COM, HERRINGTON and ROBISON will retain a minority profit in the company that is home to such acts as GUY CLARK, BR549, BOBBY BARE, RADNEY FOSTER, DAVID BALL and the late JUNE CARTER CASH.
As a part of the restructuring of DUALTONE, ROBISON will remain on board in his current role of President, but HERRINGTON will exit. TURNER also operates the music publishing house CAL IV ENTERTAINMENT.
