ENTERCOM Active Rocker WAAF/BOSTON today launched its 13th annual WALK AND ROCK FOR CHANGE. WAAF is allocating WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, and FRIDAY's programming content to the charity event. THE HILLMAN MORNING SHOW team members LB and SPAZ will walk over 70 miles in the next few days, pushing wheel-barrels in an effort to collect change for area food banks that help feed hungry families throughout MASSACHUSETTES.
They will camp out along the way making stops at various local establishments. Morning man GREGG HILL will be in the WAAF studios also raising money by taking any requests that listeners want to hear in exchange for a donation to the food bank. Friday MD and afternoon drive host MISTRESS CARRIE will welcome back SPAZ and LB with a live broadcast at a local bar.
WALK AND ROCK FOR CHANGE has brought in over $1 million for the WORCESTER AND GREAT BOSTON FOOD BANKS over the past 12 years.
