STEPHEN D. MILLER, 52, GM of seven Honolulu radio stations, died TUESDAY night in CALIFORNIA of unknown causes, reports ERIKA ENGLE in the HONOLULU STAR BULLETIN. Radio station staff members at SALEM MEDIA/HAWAII were shocked and saddened to learn yesterday morning of his sudden death.
He was lean and "healthy as an ox," said RUDI CAMELLO, one of two GSMs for the stations. JON HORTON, RVP SALEM COMMUNICATIONS will be heading to HONOLULU to run the stations in the interim, CAMELLO said.
MILLER is survived by a son and daughter from an earlier marriage, a sister, brother-in-law, his parents and a girlfriend of nearly 20 years.
