Although the six radio stations that call the CAPITOL MUSIC HALL home will not be sold with the venue, SCOTT MILLER plans on working at the same address if and when the building is sold, reports THE INTELLIGENCER of WHEELING, WV.
A deal to acquire the building at 1015 Main St. that is currently owned by LIVE NATION fell through last week, but a deal to sell the stations owned by CLEAR CHANNEL that lease space inside the CAPITOL is still pending. MILLER, CLEAR CHANNEL/WHEELING VP, said the deal has not been finalized. "The sale of the radio stations from CLEAR CHANNEL to GOODRADIO is still pending," he said.
"We are buying all of the WHEELING stations, subject to FCC approval," said DEAN GOODMAN, owner of GOODRADIO, referring to Adult Standards WBBD-A, Rock WEGW, Hot AC WKWK, Country WOVK, Top 40 WVKF and Talk WWVA-A.
