WGN Offers Breast Cancer Specials

TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO is airing a three-part news feature this week, "WHY NOT ME?," chronicling reporter JUDY PIELACH's battle with breast cancer. PIELACH will discuss her chemotherapy and double mastectomy, and will interview her surgeon. The series, produced to coincide with BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH, will air WEDNESDAY through FRIDAY (10/24-26) in the 7a, noon, 5p, and 11p newscasts.
WGN is also airing DEAN RICHARDS' annual breast cancer special SUNDAY (10/28). "Surviving Breast Cancer, Surviving Health Care," airing noon-3p CT, will air live from the HARD ROCK HOTEL CHICAGO, site of SATURDAY night's "Pink Pajama Party" to benefit the BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION. Among RICHARDS' guests for the live show will be actresses FRAN DRESCHER, JACLYN SMITH, and RICKI LAKE, MICHAEL MOORE, Gov. ROD BLAGOJEVICH, and more.
