CLEAR CHANNEL stations in fire-ravaged areas of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA are delivering real-time information to listeners and broadcast feeds to rival broadcasters. The fires have already done more than $1 billion in damage, with half-million people evacuated from their homes.
On the Web, the company has once again activated its STORMAID.COM website as a clearinghouse for information and a way to directly donate to THE AMERICAN RED CROSS, HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, AND the SALVATION ARMY. All of CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO’s station websites will also direct links to the site.
