Lightning 100 Celebrates Its 'Sweet 16'

Now enjoying their own brand of a "Sweet 16" party is TUNED IN BROADCASTING AAA WRLT (LIGHTNING 100)/NASHVILLE WRLT, which received 16 finalist nominations in the 2007 March of Dimes Achievement in Radio (A.I.R.) Awards.
PD DAVID HALL leads the way, with nominations for Best PD and Best Afternoon Drive Time Show, but he's not alone. LIGHTNING 100 is up for Best Entertainment Interview, Best New Talent, Best Show Producer, Best Commercial Spot, Best Advertising Campaign Best Spot That Never Aired, and Best Coverage of Infant and Maternal Health Issues. Three different programs -- "Retro Lightning," "Lightning 100’s New Music Storm," and "Music Business Radio" -- are up for Best Locally Produced Specialty Show.
The winners will be announced at the 10th Annual A.I.R. Awards dinner on NOV. 8, 2007, which will be held at the Gibson Bluegrass Showcase in OPRY MILLS MALL.
