The previously-reported deal by which COLLEGE CREEK MEDIA, LLC is selling KETT/MITCHELL, NE and KHYY/MINITARE, NE to JAY VAVRICEK's LEGACY COMMUNICATIONS, LLC now has a price, as the FCC filing reveals that VAVRICEK is paying $200,000 for the pair.
Another filing discloses that the price for VOX COMMUNICATIONS' purchase of seven INDIANA stations from MID-AMERICA RADIO GROUP is $11.1 million. The deal includes Classic Hits WXXC, Adult Standards WMRI-A and Oldies WBAT-A/MARION, Country WCJC/VAN BUREN-MARION, Classic Hits WMYK/PERU-KOKOMO, and Talk WIOU-A and AC WZWZ (Z 92.5)/KOKOMO. BLACKBURN AND CO. served as broker for the deal.
The price for the sale of AC KNEN (MIX 94.7)/NORFOLK, NE and Classic Country KTCH-A and Oldies KCTY (OLDIES 104.9)/WAYNE, NE to MICHAEL FLOOD's RED BEACON COMMUNICATIONS, LLC by NRG MEDIA, LLC also now has a price, with the FCC filing disclosing that FLOOD is paying $3 million cash for the stations. KALIL AND CO. served as broker for the deal.
Also filed with the FCC, the estate of HAROLD J. HALEY sells Country KLSN/HUDSON, TX to THE TURNING LEAF LLC (TURNING LEAF MEDIA) for $400,000 ($300,000 in a promissory note).
MARK W. LEITCH is donating FM translator K257BE/CLOVERDALE, CA to COLINA ALTA MINISTRIES, INC., of which he is one of three members. And EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling W267AR/ALBANY, GA to CATHY GILMORE for reimbursement of legal and other expenses of the transfer.
