BORDER MEDIA PARTNERS has promoted MARK LANDIS to Director/English Programming, SAN ANTONIO. He'll also oversee programming for all the Jack-formatted stations in various markets and will assist the company in developing its online business.
LANDIS, whose label experience includes a stint at RCA Records, most recently was PD at KJXK (JACK FM)/SAN ANTONIO. "MARK brings to the table a successful track record spanning 25 years in the radio and record business, " BMP Pres./CEO JEFF HINSON stated. "I am impressed with his talent and most importantly, his creativity that goes well beyond radio. MARK will be a key player in our drive to redefine the company’s online, audio and video content strategy."
"I'm very excited about the opportunity to work with BMP’s variety of stations and expanding markets," LANDIS said. "Radio is in an evolutionary cycle right now, and the integration of the newest technologies has fascinating possibilities. BMP is taking the right steps to be on the forefront of this curve, and is growing rapidly in developing multi-tiered delivery systems. They reward creativity and bring fun back to radio."
