CLEAR CHANNEL/WEST PALM BEACH VP/Market Mgr. JOHN D. HUNT tips ALL ACCESS about an upcoming format change on AC WRLX (CLASSY 92.1), "I am excited to tell you about a new direction that we are embarking on in the WEST PALM cluster. Effective next THURSDAY, we will launch the first Hispanic FM music station in the WEST PALM BEACH-BOCA RATON market. The new station will be called "MIA 92.1" (MY 92.1). This Hot AC Spanish format will be targeted to the 20-45-year-old consumer. The Hispanic population has grown an astounding 67% over the past seven years and this holds an incredible financial opportunity for us. Being the first FM music station targeting the fasting growing population in all of PALM BEACH COUNTY will be a big win."
BILL BRADY has declined an offer to be the GSM of sister NEWS/TALK WJNO-A and will be leaving at the end of the week. Additionally, JIM EDWARDS last morning show on CLASSY 92.1 will be next WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5th.
