The U.K.'s CHANNEL 4 has received permission from OFCOM for a delay in the launch date of its CHANNEL 4 RADIO digital radio station, requesting three more months to put the channel on the air.
CHANNEL 4 originally had until JANUARY 2009 to launch the channel, but got an extension until APRIL 2009. The network's first radio offering, a radio version of its E4 channel, is set for a launch in seven months, one of three channels created by CHANNEL 4 for its national digital multiplex.
