Former TEXAS station owner MIKE STORY has been indicted by a GUADALUPE COUNTY grand jury on six counts of making false statements to obtain credit, one count of fiduciary misappropriation, and another of 401K misappropriation, according to the SEGUIN GAZETTE-ENTERPRISE.
The charges, third-degree felonies, were based on six incidents that involved STORY allegedly misleading a bank about his company's receivables, another in which he allegedly moved over $200,000 from his SEGUIN MEDIA GROUP to other STORY companies or his personal use, and the alleged misapplication of the money meant for 19 employees' 401K accounts between 2003 and 2006. SEGUIN MEDIA GROUP formerly owned Country KWED-A/SEGUIN-SAN ANTONIO and the SEGUIN DAILY NEWS.
