Compassionart Songwriters Retreat Underway

An international songwriters retreat for COMPASSIONART began MONDAY, JANUARY 7th in PERTHSHIRE, SCOTLAND. The songwriters involved aim to write 10-12 songs that will be given to this project to raise money for the charity COMPASSIONART, based in LITTLEHAMPTON. One half of the monies raised from the use of the songs will go to the songwriters' charity of choice and the other half will go to a charitable project agreed upon by all the songwriters involved.

Songwriters participating are PAUL BALOCHE, STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, DELIRIOUS members MARTIN SMITH and STU GARRARD, ISRAEL HOUGHTON, TIM HUGHES, GRAHAM KENDRICK, ANDY PARK, MATT REDMAN, MICHAEL W. SMITH and DARLENE ZSCHECH. CHRIS TOMLIN was scheduled to attend but could not make the trip due to a short-term illness.
