Consent Decree Gets KSUN-A License Renewed

FIESTA RADIO, INC. inks a concent decree with the FCC, pays a $10,000 "voluntary contribution" to the U.S. Treasury, and gets a license renewal for Spanish KSUN-A (RADIO FIESTA)/PHOENIX. The station had disclosed public file violations in its 2005 license renewal application that are resolved with the consent decree.
The FCC also proposed fines against four PENNSYLVANIA licensees for late license renewal applications at five stations, including a $7,000 proposed fine against WIDENER UNIVERSITY for WDNR/CHESTER, two $500 fines against WDAC RADIO COMPANY for W280CP/WAGONTOWN and W280CQ/SHILLINGTON, a $350 fine against LOUIS J. MAIERHOFER for W276AS/MARTINSBURG, and a $350 fine against TIMBER RIDGE MINISTRIES, INC. for W215AA/MILLERSBURG.
