As ALL ACCESS told you first last night (NET NEWS 1/16), a true fixture in Top 40 programming, JOHN IVEY has officially extended his multi-year deal as PD for CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Mainstream KIIS/LOS ANGELES.
Having been at the station’s helm since 2001, the extension will make IVEY the longest running PD in KIIS' gloried history.
"When you have a programmer like JOHN in the building, you want to make sure he stays there," stated CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO/LOS ANGELES VP/Programming MICHAEL MARTIN. "His experience, ear for music, and eye for talent have taken KIIS to the top ... and kept it there. There is no question we're thrilled he’s gonna be with us for a long while."
IVEY told ALL ACCESS, "With RYAN as our Quarterback and the rest of our kick ass team, we've really had a great run. I'm just proud to be here finding new ways to do radio. It's moving fast and we try and stay a step or two ahead. Still a challenge and still very fun. Thanks to all at CC for having the confidence in me. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to make a STARBUCK's run for Mr. SEACREST."
