ENTERCOM AC KOSI/DENVER has named GARY NOLAN PD; the renowned programming vet starts JAN. 29th.
"GARY is truly an 'AC kind of guy.'" stated ENTERCOM/DENVER VP AMY GRIESHEIMER . "Throughout his radio career, GARY has programmed some of the most successful AC stations in the country. He was the second PD in the history of WLTW in the mid- to late-'80s and, later on; he programmed for CBS in MINNEAPOLIS for 12 years. During this time, WLTE was top 5 with A 25-54 and #1 with women 25-54 in almost every book. GARY's great track record continued when he programmed KRWM/SEATTLE for almost three years. During his tenure, the station achieved its first ever # 1 ratings with A 25-54. GARY is also no stranger to the microphone, having worked on the air just about every daypart during his 20-year plus career."
"While I'll miss the warm winter weather and the early-bird dinner specials, I'm trilled to be heading to DENVER to work with AMY and her staff at ENTERCOM," NOLAN said. "This is a great opportunity and get’s me back where I need to be. I think I'll treat myself to a new winter coat ... and a hat ... and gloves!"
