As anticipation continues to build for GARTH BROOKS' five sold-out concerts at L.A.'s STAPLES CENTER, the PEARL RECORDS/BIG MACHINE NASHVILLE artist is allowing fans from across AMERICA to get a behind-the-scenes look into the pre-concert activities. BROOKS has added a one-hour webcast prior to the first show at garthbrooks.com. The webcast will air on FRIDAY, JANUARY 25th starting at 4:30p (PT).
The webcast will originate from the main concourse of STAPLES CENTER and will feature fan interviews, giveaways and the opportunity to contribute to the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 2008 FIRE INTERVENTION RELIEF EFFORT (F.I.R.E.). All proceeds from the five concerts will be donated to F.I.R.E. (NET NEWS 11/29).
The webcast is free and does not require registration. During the show, several fans will be chosen at random to receive free L.A. concert merchandise. To be eligible, fans can go to garthbrooks.com/LA and enter their name and e-mail address.
