EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is buying Contemporary Christian WFZH (105.3 THE FISH)/MUKWONAGO-MILWAUKEE from SALEM COMMUNICATIONS affiliate CARON BROADCASTING for $8.05 million. The station will pick up EMF's K-LOVE format as of FEBRUARY 15, according to an affiliation agreement filed with the deal documents.
In addition. EMF is also buying Oldies WMEX/FARMINGTON, NH from WIMMEX, INC. for $1 million ($700,000 in a promissory note).
In other transactions filed with the FCC, CLIFF JENNINGS is selling his 100% interest in LA FOLLETTE BROADCASTERS, INC., licensee of Country WQLA-F (Q-105 THE BOSS)/LA FOLLETTE, TN, to NORMAN ALPERT's MOMENTUM BROADCASTING LLC for $850,000 ($350,000 in a promissory note); and RADIO ASSIST MINISTRY, INC. is selling K290AT/NORFOLK, NE to WJAG INCORPORATED for $17,500, with the buyer using the translator to rebroadcast its Hot AC KEXL (THE X)/NORFOLK, NE.
