Town Meeting Returns To CRS 39

The COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS (CRB) have announced that THURSDAY, MARCH 6th will be Music Industry Town Meeting Day at CRS-39. On this day, members of the NASHVILLE music community are invited to participate in a full day of activities, with several panels that directly address issues facing the music industry.
Music industry-oriented panels include "Engaging the X/Y Consumer," a study of younger consumers and how to reach them effectively, presented by THE INTELLIGENCE GROUP; "Research 101: Callout, Focus, Music Tests," an in-depth examination of callout research, and how music testing is used by radio programmers to affect their programming decisions; and "The Power of Business in Español," offering valuable insight into the Latino market with JOSE CANCELA, a noted expert on Hispanic communications.
Town Meeting participants will be treated to performances by COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE's KEITH ANDERSON and MONTGOMERY GENTRY, plus the WCRS-Live songwriter showcase. Participants may also attend the evening showcases and the Exhibit Area Networking Hour.
