The AP reports that the WRITERS GUILD OF AMERICA's board of directors has granted NARAS an interim agreement so writers can work the GRAMMY AWARDS on FEB. 10th.
The union signed off on the AWARDS show because both professional musicians and writers face the same concerns when it comes to compensation through digital media, which has been the main sticking point in its contract dispute with ALLIANCE OF MOTION PICTURE AND TELEVISION PRODUCERS. Both parties have just resumed negotiations.
