SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO is launching "INDIE TALK," a new talk radio channel featuring uncensored shows from bloggers of all political stripes. The channel, starting WEDNESDAY (2/6), will carry a morning show hosted by actor RON SILVER.

"Radio needs a change as much as the country," said SILVER. "INDIE TALK will give voice to all individuals for an amazing national debate."

"More than ever, Americans need a place to engage in discussion regardless of their backgrounds and ideologies. INDIE TALK is open to everyone, and will create a new dynamic in radio for the 2008 Presidential Election," said SIRIUS President, Entertainment and Sports SCOTT GREENSTEIN. "RON SILVER and all the individuals who become involved with Indie Talk will be the catalysts that spark great debate and opinions from every walk of life."
