Longtime LOUISIANA radio veteran ROGER W. CAVANESS died over the weekend in LAFAYETTE after a long battle with cancer. He was 63.
CAVANESS was a member of the on-air staff at WTIX/NEW ORLEANS when it was a STORZ powerhouse (THE MIGHTY 6-90) back in the 1960's. Most recently, he was in ownership in ALEXANDRIA with KLAA and KEUN-A/F/EUNICE, LA.
