At 7p FRIDAY (2/15), CLEAR CHANNEL/BAKERSFIELD executed a frequency swap with Country KBKO and Classic Rock KDFO. KBKO moves to 98.5 while KDFO now resides on 96.5. "It's a chance to put our top English-speaking station on the best signal in town (96.5). It's like moving both businesses into new storefronts," said CC Interim OM KENN MCCLOUD.
The KDFO lineup will continue intact:
Mornings: BOB AND TOM
Middays: MIKE BELL
Afternoon: ANNE KELLY
Nights: MONTANAThe KBKO lineup is set now with:
Overnights: ALI TAYLOR
Mornings: BIG D AND BUBBA
Middays: SAMANTHA
Afternoons: SAMMY CRUISE
Nights: KRAMERWith former OM STEVE KING packing and heading to SANDUSKY/PHOENIX, MCCLOUD will oversee the operations of the stations, which also include Alternative KRAB, Spanish KBFP-A/F , Spanish Talk KHTY, as well as operations of CLEAR CHANNEL's LANCASTER/PALMDALE stations.
