Two Xfm/London Staffers Move To NME Radio

Grabs Two XFM Staffers

The GUARDIAN's JEMIMA KISS is reporting that two GCAP MEDIA Alternative XFM/LONDON staffers have defected to new Alternative digital station NME RADIO, based on venerable music magazine NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS and launching this SUMMER. XFM Music And Programme Producer JOANNE BURLANDO will serve as the new station's Head of Operations, while XFM Daytime Producer KATIE TORRIE is joining NME as Music and Production Manager.

NME RADIO is being launched in mid-2008 by the magazine's owner, IPC, in partnership with DX MEDIA, whose Managing Director SAMMY JACOB founded XFM.
