It's been just about a year since the MOViN format debuted. The average station airing the Rhythmic AC format has increased its target audience share by over 650% according to a report issued by ALAN BURNS AND ASSOCIATES.
"The 10 original MOViN stations had been on the air for 11.9 months when the FALL book started," said BURNS, "so we felt this was a good time to review their early performance. Over the last three books, when all 10 were in-format, virtually all the MOViN stations have improved their adult female numbers compared to their previous formats."
"The biggest opportunity and challenge for most MOViN stations is to grow awareness and cume," added BURNS. "For various reasons including the tough revenue climate we’re all in, most MOViN stations were not launched with the kind of strong marketing pushes enjoyed by formats and stations like 'FRESH' or the highest-rated JACKs and BOBs."
