UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS will, beginning with the first broadcast week of APRIL 2008, begin distributing ELVIS ONLY, the weekly program that covers ELVIS PRESLEY’s career and influence exclusively. ELVIS ONLY is the creation of producer/host JAY GORDON.
The show, which is broadcast in most markets on weekends, is a vehicle through which JAY GORDON presents an extensive array of ELVIS hits and rarities, exclusive interviews and historical moments, culled from one of the most complete Elvis Presley audio archives in the world. The show, which just celebrated its 20th anniversary on the air, first debuted locally in BOSTON at WODS on ELVIS PRESLEY’s birthday (JANUARY 8th) in 1988.
In making the announcement, USRN EVP/Programming ANDY DENEMARK said, "ELVIS ONLY is one of those destination programs that has dedicated fans who absolutely cannot live without the show. They set their alarms and drive to the next town if they have to in order to hear the show, and that’s the kind of programming we like to deliver." JAY GORDON added, "I’m thrilled that so many fans share my appreciation of what ELVIS did in the recording studio, on television, in the movies and in concert. And with my new partnership with UNITED STATIONS, we’re certain to reach an even wider audience."
