Ellen K Signs Extended Deal With KIIS

CLEAR CHANNEL/LOS ANGELES Market Pres. GREG ASHLOCK announced TODAY that the veteran co-host of Top 40 KIIS morning show (On-Air w/ RYAN SEACREST), ELLEN K, has signed an extended contract and will remain with the show through 2010. "ELLEN has been at KIIS FM as the co-host of the Morning Show for many years," said ASHLOCK, "and she’s part of the institution and personality of this legendary station. Her talent, life experience and bond with the audience are just a few of the reasons we are thrilled to have her locked in."

ELLEN’s radio career began in INDIANA, and took her to SAN DIEGO and SAN FRANCISCO before landing at KIIS/LOS ANGELES. In 2007, ELLEN received the GENIE AWARD for excellence in broadcasting from AWRT.

"ELLEN is a unique talent," said VP/Programming for KIIS, JOHN IVEY. "She has basically shared her life with the audience over the years. Listeners really identify with her, and she with them.
