Bayliss Foundation Adds Four

THE JOHN BAYLISS BROADCAST FOUNDATION has added four new members to its board of directors: KIMBERLY CUTCHALL of CLEAR CHANNEL, JEFFREY T. HINSON of BORDER MEDIA PARTNERS, MARY QUASS of NRG MEDIA and KEVIN WAGNER of URBAN RADIO BROADCASTING. The new directors started their three-year term on the board this past JANUARY.
CUTCHALL, HINSON, QUASS and WAGNER join the following directors on the Board: ALICE R. BAYLISS, BRAD BEDFORD of ARBITRON, BISHOP CHEEN of WACHOVIA SECURITIES, JOHN DAVID of the NAB, GARY FRIES, DAVID KENNEDY of INTEREP, GARY KRANTZ, HERB MCCORD of GRANUM COMMUNICATIONS, VIRGINIA MORRIS of HUBBARD BROADCASTING, STU OLDS of KATZ MEDIA GROUP, LARRY PATRICK of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS, GEORGE PINE, GEORGE REED of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP, B. ERIC RHOADS of RADIO INK Magazine, RON RODRIGUES of ARBITRON and BILL STAKELIN of REGENT COMMUNICATIONS. CARL BUTRUM, formerly with EASTMAN RADIO, serves as President of the board.
THE BAYLISS BROADCAST FOUNDATION awards scholarships to deserving college and university students who plan a career in the radio industry. The Foundation also manages an internship program that pairs students from some of the top communications schools in the nation with participating major radio companies. Over the past 22 years, THE BAYLISS FOUNDATION has awarded more than $1 million in scholarship money to over 320 students.
