Report: KWBE Sold Again

A report in the BEATRICE DAILY SUN says that NRG MEDIA is selling its recently-acquired AC KWBE-A/BEATRICE, NE to SIEBERT BROADCASTING INC. NRG acquired KWBE when it bought TRIAD BROADCASTING's four-station LINCOLN cluster for $17.5 million. The KWBE spinoff has not appeared in the FCC database yet.
Another deal announced but not yet filed with the Commission is the purchase by ROBINSON CORP. of silent WKAH/SOLDIERS GROVE, WI from ADVANCED ACQUISITION, INC. (STARBOARD NETWORK) for $250,000. The station signed on briefly at the end of FEBRUARY and is presently silent. AMERICAN MEDIA SERVICES' DAVID F. REEDER served as exclusive broker for the deal.
In a deal filed with the FCC, MORRADIO, INC. sold Talk WLMA-A/GREENWOOD, SC to JILL ANNE B. ELLER's ANNE'S ENTERTAINMENT VISION, INC. for $75,000. ELLER has been operating the station under the sale agreement since JULY 16. 2007. The station's license was canceled on MARCH 2, 2004 for failure to file a renewal application, but MORRADIO has filed to reinstate the license and the station has continued to operate under Special Temporary Authority since then.
And FOUR RIVERS COMMUNITY BROADCASTING CORPORATION is selling FM translator W230AX/MIDDLE SPRING, PA to SHIPPENSBURG BROADCASTING, INC. for $10,000. The buyer plans to use the translator to rebroadcast its WEEO-A/SHIPPENSBURG, PA.
