SKYCLIX has launched POUNDSKY in LOS ANGELES and SAN DIEGO. POUNDSKY™ is the first service that allows mobile consumers to identify on-air content and advertisers from radio stations. There is no fee to use the #SKY service. It is an ad-supported service that enables consumers to link with radio advertisements, communicate directly with radio stations, identify songs and broadcast content, share with their friends, and automatically post to FACEBOOK. The universal number, #SKY, works with FM radio stations in the major metro areas of CALIFORNIA.
"We started SKYCLIX because we saw an opportunity to make traditional media interactive and mobile by providing consumers with all of the information they are looking for when tuning in to a radio station," said CEO BOB REID. "Our goal is to make communication with broadcasters easier than texting and add significantly more value and features. Similarly, with the advertising community, we strive to extend advertisers’ reach beyond impressions to let them deliver information, coupons or a response at the point of impulse."
